About the Author
I currently work as a Head of Data Protection at the multinational company, headquartered in Copenhagen, and operating in over 125 markets globally. I oversee Group's comprehensive data protection and privacy program, partnering with business units to navigate complex challenges, including those involving artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
With a strong background in law and experience in regulatory space, I previously served as the Global Data Protection Officer at IKEA Retail, the Legal Counsel & a Data Protection Officer at Falck, and was a part of the Cabinet of the European Data Protection Supervisor. I have also worked as an external consultant and trainer delivering data protection foundational and advanced courses to hundreds of professionals worldwide.
In addition, I sit on the Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and am a OneTrust Chapter Chair in Copenhagen.
I am passionate about law, technology and human rights and have authored multiple publications in this space.
